Differences

It is easy to see the difference between an average kite, and one that makes you take notice.
So, are you a KidLib or a KidLib who knows Library 2.0?

My favorite this week is Book Trailers.

Wind ing down

This Summer is busy, busy, busy. What happened to those lazy dog days?

No time for a picture on this post, running off to attempt to apply this week's lesson to creating my own Podcast.

We do however always have time for questions, email any ALA Children & Technology Committee member or post a comment at any time.

Half Way Done

Hope you had a chance for some good R&R this past weekend as this Week  is packed with tons of Things that won't be gone with the wind tomorrow.

By the end of the week you'll be able to answer: Do you use Meebo to organize your IM?
and
At week's end treat yourself to first dibs on the hammock of your choice.  You deserve it!

Tagged as Baby Mobile!

In looking for an appropriate Wind  subgroup image for Week 4, thought a mobile would be fun.  Searched under term Baby Mobile and this option came up:
Really,  Baby Mobile??

Hopefully this is a case of mistaken tagging.
Anyway, Week 4 is so much fun you won't need any wind or a friendly breeze to move about.

Update:  Note comment posted by participant,  Image Chef has small print notice that it is for personal use only.

WEEK 3

Two very different Things this week! Firefox and Wikis

Although totally different tools, between Firefox and Wiki I think Wiki takes a lead, simply because of its collaborative potential.
What do you think?

Tracking the Delicious Reader

Can you believe Week 2 is almost over! Waters appear calm, smooth sailing?

While cruising the internet channels today, I quickly realized how fortunate we are to be referred to blogging groups and tools where we can organize and share information resources and not be inundated with potential savings alerts, moving advertisements and continually asked whether we want to continue our education.

Although, I think we should be impressed with the speed of marketing partnerships that are forming overnight to assist with online purchasing decisions.  If I was an organizational/marketing psychology major I would have a field day consulting myself out to companies to teach them how much is to much that will cause a client to state they are dissatisfied with their purchasing process. I consider two interruptions to many.

While purchasing business cards, I said no to matching labels, folders, letterhead, flyers and pencil holders,   I still needed to confirm that I didn't need a new credit card,  future alerts or personal coaching before finalizing the order.  Google Readers, Delicious Organizers and Blogging sites are looking better everyday, and my bank card doesn't come out of my wallet.
